Camera cards were used by local TV stations when, while showing a movie or other show, the director cut to live for commercials or promos. The cards were placed on a copy stand to be shot by a TV camera. Offered here is 15x20" cardboard card for Los Angeles, CA Channel 13, KCOP for use w/showing of 1954 TV movie that starred Don Ameche and Ian Hunter. Film featured "An Atomic Submarine Duel To The Death" as noted in starburst text. Card is nicely airbrushed in bw and has hand-painted text and small images of the two submarines in mixed media. Corner tip wear w/tiny 1/8" flake off at left center. Still displays VF and could be easily matted for an Exc. display.
