Item Description
The "Capped Bust" coinage of the US consisted of a half dime, dime, quarter and half dollar that all featured the same design on the obverse - Lady Liberty wearing a "Liberty" cap. The reverse features a heraldic eagle. This design was introduced by Chief Engraver of the Mint, William Kneass, being struck 1807 to 1839 on the half dollar. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection and comes with COA.
