Many different Mickey Mouse tea sets were produced in Japan in the 1930s. The box is 9x10.75x2.75" deep and contains 11-piece set. Box label is marked "Nifty Toy Tea Sets - Geo. Borgfeldt Corp." Lid has 5.75" strip of tape on one side panels, but lid is complete and free of splits. Label has heavy moisture staining and is Good. Rest of box is complete w/insert and shows some aging/lt. wear and is VF. Cups are 1.25" tall, saucers are 3.25" (4) and 3.75" (4) dia. and each pair has matching images of Mickey painting, blowing horn, watering flowers, behind a microphone. The other three pieces are 3.75" tall tea pot w/lid, creamer and sugar all w/same image of Mickey and Minnie in a boat. Set is Exc.
