Item Description
Lot of three tin litho canister banks made in England by Happynak in the 1930s. We know of four different varieties of this bank done in different sizes, all w/similar but slightly different graphics. We are offering three of the four designs, first is 4.75" tall variety marked "Series No. 611." Images include two different of Mickey Mouse (mailing letter addressed to Donald Duck and mailing bone addressed to Pluto) along w/Nephews, one of his and one of Donald's. 1/8" and .25" tears to thin metal by left of coin slot and scattered denting to top. VG. Scarce variety. Next is 6" tall variety w/images of Mickey holding flowers, Minnie Mouse holding a letter addressed to Donald w/Pluto seated between them. Bank has lt. scattered wear w/a few tiny nicks/scratches (most evident along top rim). Fine/VF. Last is 6" tall variety w/images of Mickey holding a letter addressed to Donald w/Nephews, one of Mickey's and one of Donald's.
