15x19.25" large format calendar printed by Brown & Bigelow in 1947. Metal strip at top margin. Front cover features "Too Good To Be True" pin-up w/image of sexy, winking blond w/letter. Inside monthly sheets include text for Buffalo, NY construction company along w/Elvgren pin-up images. Cover art is repeated on the Aug. sheet. Some images include model w/records, topless French maid, bride, genie, topless model on scale, etc. Cover has moderate dust soiling and a few lt. handling creases/small margin tears. Fine. Last sheet (Dec.) has small margin edge tears but rest of calendar is VF. Scarce. 16x33.5" calendar w/metal strips at top and bottom margin, which has attached Dec., 1955-1956 calendar pad (complete). Calendar was issued by the E.W. Davis Company and serves as advertisement for "Spartan Saws And Tools" and features wonderful Elvgren pin-up featuring model having just completed building a birdhouse. The blueprints she is seated upon has "Saws And Tools" text and there is an image of a "Spartan" hand saw at bottom. Calendar has been rolled and has some insect damage along upper right margin. Still VF overall. Nice pair featuring wonderful Elvgren pin-up art.
