Item Description
11.75x14" artboard has attached 8.5x8.5" photostat of Charlie Brown hugging Snoopy that was featured as the cover to Artcraft #5473 coloring book. ©1958 United Features Syndicate but actually released c. 1970. Artboard has attached 11x13" sheet of onionskin paper w/matching marker and watercolor illustration as that of stat. Extensive handwritten production notations at margins. Upper left corner of onionskin sheet has 1.25" tear where attached to artboard w/tape and some scattered aging. Still displays Fine. From the collection of Chip Kidd, renowned author, graphic designer and pop culture enthusiast extraordinaire, who also edited the "Peanuts - The Art Of Charles Schulz" book.
