Item Description
Partially printed vellum with specific details in ink signed as President "J.Q. Adams." 9.75x15-7/8" dated January 6, 1826. Purchase is by Powell Carpenter of 160 acres in the district of Detroit and the territory of Michigan. Signed at the bottom by Adams and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. Three original folds with very faint pair of 2x3" moisture marks at lower left and right. Paper seal is faded but almost no wear. Displays very cleanly and very clear signature quite bold with letter "Q" a little lighter. Fine and comes with Hakes COA and JSA LOA.
