6x9" hard cover with 420 glossy pages. Published in 1959 by DeWitt, the book contains a descriptive list of medalets, tokens, buttons, ferrotypes and other lapel devices relating to the nation political campaigns in the United States from 1789 through 1889. Example pieces are illustrated. A "must have" reference for collectors of pre-1892 items. Long out of print. The top 2" of the spine fabric has lost some of the reddish-brown color, but rest of cover is Exc. and contents are like new. A classic. See next item.
