Performers include - early photo of one of Motown's greatest groups, Gordy Recording Artists The Temptations; The Valentinos (Feb. 25, 1963), a group of five brothers also known as The Womack Brothers, noted for launching the careers of Bobby and Cecil Womack; The Solitaires, best known for their 1957 hit "Walking Along"; The Stereos (Nov. 20, 1961), doo-wop group whose biggest hit was "I Really Love You"; The Marcels (Dec. 26, 1961), a group who turned popular composed songs into rock and roll ("Blue Moon" as an example) and doo-wop group The Shells (Jan. 16 1961). Valentinos photo has "McGhee Studio" photographer mark while four others (including The Temptations) are marked "James. J. Kriegsman."
