Item Description
Not only the first Mickey Mouse watch, but it is also the first version produced. It was altered slightly in the fall of 1933. This version has a leather band w/metal accent pieces that attach to braces on the case, the version that followed was w/o these accent pieces. Also this case has Art Deco geometric designs that were removed from later versions. Band has pair of metal Mickey Mouse attachments both w/much of the black accent paint remaining. Below one Mickey are three added holes to the leather band. Band is Fine. The 1.25" dia. case retains near full luster, dial is bright and clean. Running and Exc. VF. An exceptional example of classic watch.
Description update-
While the band and case are first state earliest issues from 1933, the dial is version first appearing in the Spring of 1934.
