The first Mickey watch was issued in 1933. This is version from Fall, 1934. Has six metal link band w/clasp plus pair of additional attachments featuring Mickey images both retaining full black paint highlights. 1.25" dial includes second hand disc featuring three small Mickey images. Exc. Trace of wear to case luster w/slight age toning to dial. Watch is running and o/w VF. As nice as these come. Watch comes in 4.5" long hinged lid cardboard box which is variety w/character images on all sides of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Horace Horsecollar, Clarabelle Cow and Pluto plus single image of Mickey on inside of lid. Inside of lid has noticeable fade to two-thirds of surface. Cardboard insert is an expertly crafted replacement. Comes w/original separate cardboard strip noting new issue price of $2.95 that was instituted in Fall, 1934. Box has lt. corner tip wear but remains bright and clean w/deep rich color. VF.
