Item Description
Cuff links are 7/8" dia. with white porcelain on each side of a circular brass disk. Text is on the front while on the reverse a metal stud is attached which has a circular piece on the end which can be swiveled 90° to easily insert the piece through cuff holes. One cuff link has tiny 1/16" flake off upper right edge and both have some very slight traces of black dots and a few 1/16" scratches showing very slightly against the white backgrounds. The shield is rather large for an item of this type at 1.5" tall. There are numerous hairline cracks with the two showing the most at the upper right and from the center towards the bottom. There is no missing material. Back of the piece has a soldered 1.5" vertical brass stickpin. All pieces retain nice gloss. A rare set from 1888.
