Item Description
9x26x3.5" painted wood base has 13" tall animated composition figure in coveralls, wearing over-sized gloves and railroad cap w/lantern in his hand and a hankie in his back pocket. He stands before billboard-like display which gives display total height of 16.75" tall. 1950s. Figure has metal hook on hand, but we are unsure just what this character/display advertised. It is entirely possible it is a generic display that could be used to sell a variety of products. When plugged in (w/original cord), figure rapidly swings arm w/lantern that lights back and forth as other arm slowly raises and lowers, head turns to and fro and eyes move back and forth. Billboard area has scattered tape staining in a .75x5" area at right and some chipping to painted grass accents on base but o/w display is VF.
