Item Description
First is 1.25" tall beautifully detailed brass shell gold bug with small loop at his head holding a medallion which reads "Sound Money." Hake #214. Mint. Second is 1.5" two-sided brass piece with original string cord. One side shows eagle with slogan "I'm All Right" and when in this position the reverse reads "Sound Money Means A Dollar Worth 100 Cents McKinley, Hobart and Prosperity." A lever at the top moves the eagle's head to one side, as if broken and the slogan above becomes "Where Am I At?" The opposite side now reads "Free Silver Means A Dollar Worth 50 Cents Bryan, Sewall and Adversity." Very tiny dent along bottom side edge but more than made up for by the gorgeous Essentially Mint brilliant luster. Hake #216. Sen. Charles Dick Collection.
