Item Description
These range between 1.5" and 2.75" tall. In order we have sepia real photo without dot pattern. Our photo may show small line at upper left that was dirt now removed. Second with gold background reads "Wm. McKinley." Next is 9/16" sepia real photo with fabric flag accent attached to the pin. Next is sepia real photo of the "McKinley Homestead/Republican Shrine." Centered among the tree branches around the second story of the house, are remarkably tiny rectangular photos of McKinley and his wife with the McKinley reading "Protection 96." Tiny speck of celluloid missing from extreme left edge but barely visible. A rare item and probably the smallest McKinley photo on a campaign item. Next is sepia real photo of Mrs. McKinley against flag motif background. Next is black straight pin holding fabric flag accent and oval real photo of McKinley. Next is pennant design reading "McKinley And Hobart." Next is embossed brass trio of feathers with one in red tint, one in blue tint and one in symbolic gold. Last is horseshoe nail with long vertical stickpin soldered on the back. Front has detailed profile portrait of him at the top with text below "Nailed To McKinley." All pieces are Exc. to Mint except as noted. Many rarities. Sen. Charles Dick Collection.
