Item Description
1.75" with back paper by W.F. Miller, New York. Miss Liberty in flag outfit sits on a chair resting one arm over the handle of her sword propped vertically and with one bare foot on a round stool-like circle accented by a center star. With her other hand she supports a green wreath which extends over the large vertical rectangle panel centered with Bryan's photo. This rarity is Hake #118 with 2004 guide value of $2,500.00. In reflected light there are some fine hairline scratches on the Bryan portrait with one less than 1/16" just slightly deeper on the bridge of his nose and one 3/16" long from the end of his nose curling towards his coat collar at the left. While we mention these they are quite trivial and we'll be ultra conservative and describe the overall condition as Extremely Fine but realistically the piece displays Fully Mint with perfect centering, high gloss, no stain. It's very unlikely an example exists in any more superior condition. Julie Powell Collection.
