These insignia stickers were used to leave behind secret codes/messages. 2.5x4.25" membership card has inked name that matched recipient name on envelope. Reverse explains "Inner Circle Insignia." Card has lt. even aging but is o/w Exc. Also comes w/rare 2.75x8.5" typed sheet of paper that mentions fingerprinting instructions written by Chick Carter would be in upcoming issue of "Shadow Comics" and upcoming Chick Carter back-up feature in "Shadow Comics". Dates to Feb. 1944's "Shadow Comics" #35. First we've seen. Chick Carter (son of sleuth Nick Carter) was promoted by a radio drama program 1943-1945 as well as a Columbia movie serial in 1946.
