Item Description
10.75" long by 5-1/8" tall tin litho toy produced in the 1920s. Toy features two-sided embossed tin figures of boy and girl on horse at each end of see-saw-like contraption. Chute at top of toy is marked "Sand Toy" on each side and has small hole at bottom which divides sand onto each side, causing rider figures to raise and lower as sand builds up and then empties through slots at bottom. Scattered wear from use, w/some minor denting to top edge of chute. Fine/VF. Scarce early version of this toy, see later pair #1642.
