Item Description
Pair of 5x7.75", 16-page manuals issued by Cream of Wheat in 1936. Inside front cover shows a photo of radio Buck Rogers and Wilma Deering, other contents include "Secret Of The Solar Scouts," information on becoming a spaceship commander and six pages featuring illustrations of a total of 18 different premiums. These include lead figures, Repeller Ray Ring, pocket knife, pistol and holster, patch, uniform, Superdreadnaught Interplanetary Space Ship SD51X model, girl's Wilma pendant and chain, etc. Missing 2-page center attachment w/sign-up sheet for new members/premium order blanks. The designated "Name/Address" lines on back cover have been filled out in ink by two sisters (it's rather unusual to find Buck Rogers items aimed at girls, let alone to find a pair belonging to two sisters). Scattered lt. wear w/pinch creases to spine and some dust soiling. VF overall. Interior pages remains clean though staples show moderate rusting. VG/Fine.
