Item Description
Pair of dolls by Dollcraft Novelty Co. ©1938 T.L.R. Co. Inc. 15.75" tall Lone Ranger doll w/composition head/hands/boots w/stuffed fabric body has cotton fabric bandanna, plaid shirt w/faux suede chaps. Belt and holster strap are made of oilcloth-type material, which show wear w/creases and crack to surface of material, as does suede-like chaps. These dolls came in different colors/styled outfits. Original cardboard tag still attached to bottom of holster w/1.25" and 2.75" tears across tag w/archival tape repairs on reverse. Good/VG. Doll's head has scattered wear w/some surface splits behind ears (1.5" and two .5") but still displays Fine w/no restoration as is typical. Larger scale 19.5" tall "Tonto - The Lone Ranger's Pal" doll w/composition head/hands/feet in oilcloth-type material moccasins.
