Item Description
7" dia. by 4-5/8" tall wax-coated cardboard bucket w/cardboard handle by The Lily-Tulip Cup Corporation. Bucket once held "The Lone Ranger Silver Bullet Pops" lollipops by Candy Corporation Of America of Brooklyn, NY. ©1940 TLR Inc. Front of bucket features great image of Lone Ranger on rearing Silver and large image of bullet-shaped lollipop. Additional text reads "10¢ Per Dozen - Twelve Delicious Flavors." Back of bucket has different image of Lone Ranger seated on fence holding one of the lollipops, w/text reading "Pals...They're Delicious - Shaped To Fit The Mouth - The Lone Ranger Silver Bullet Pops." Additional image shows close-up of Lone Ranger w/"The Only Pops In The World That Bear The Lone Ranger Name" text. Bucket has all over moderate aging (partially from wax coating) which is more noticeable on bucket interior. Exterior displays Fine/VF. Interior is VG w/a few small cracks to the rim edge. Rare and the first we've offered in our 47 years.
