Item Description
27x40" one-sheet movie poster for 1930s re-release of Al Jolson's 1933 film "Hallelujah, I'm a Bum" that was retitled "The Heart Of New York" for re-release. This Lewis Milestone-directed musical comedy was set in New York during the Depression and featured Jolson as a hobo alongside Madge Evans and Frank Morgan (the Wizard from 1939's "The Wizard Of Oz"). Poster has fold lines as originally folded w/some wear along these lines. Mounted to cardboard w/black masking tape borders. VG overall but would frame for a nice display. Scarce poster.
