Item Description
15x17.75" frame contains large, over-sized photo of noted silent film actor, comedian, director, and screenwriter "Fatty" Arbuckle. Starting at the Selig Polyscope Company, Arbuckle eventually moved to Keystone Studios where he worked w/Mabel Normand and Harold Lloyd. He mentored Charlie Chaplin and discovered Buster Keaton and Bob Hope. Photo has Los Angeles "Wilkins" photographer's mark at lower right and photo has been signed in white ink "Yours For Four-Bits - Roscoe C. Arbuckle." Great photo of this influential silent film star has been professionally matted and framed for an Exc. display. As nice a signed Fatty Arbuckle piece as you will find. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
