Item Description
Lot of 2 original art works plus Little Golden Book. First is 7.5x11.5" heavy art board with extremely well done tempera and water color illustration by Edwin Schmidt. Extremely fine detail including Lone Ranger's gun and jewels on Silver's bridle. This artwork was used on page 5 of the included book. Second item is 7x8" extremely well done in tempera and water color artwork with Lone Ranger and Tonto in oval rope lasso. This artwork is seen as page 2 of the same book. Both closely resemble their TV counterparts Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels and their horses. Margins have artist and editorial notations but image areas on both will matte and frame to Exc. appearance. Golden Book art is scarce and these are wonderful examples. Copyright of book is 1957. Art images are bright, clean, impressive and N. Mint.
