Item Description
4.5x6.5" color photo with 3" signature on photo "Clayton Moore/Lone Ranger." Inside cover of fold-over cardboard frame reads "To Kevin/Regards. Clayton Moore/The Lone Ranger 6-14-80." Moore is seen wearing large sunglasses instead of Ranger mask. This was during the time that the owner's of the Lone Ranger rights wanted to introduce a new Lone Ranger an refused Moore permission to wear the mask. No one counted on the legions of Clayton Moore fans and the size of the protest they would rage on his behalf. Interesting bit of Lone Ranger/Clayton Moore history. Cardboard folder shows light wear on outside. Photographs and signatures are clean and bright. N. Mint. Comes w/letter of authenticity from Hakes's.
