This is the first example we've seen of this large 3.75" celluloid sheet held in a narrow tin framed rim with flat tin reverse which has a small pair of brass plates to which is soldered a long v shaped tin wire designed to slip over a pocket. Text in full reads "Get On The/Truman-Barkley/Stevenson-Douglas/And All Democrats/Wagon/Copyright L.L. Chicago." In addition to the winning Truman/Barkley ticket, Adlai Stevenson was successful as Governor of Illinois and Paul Douglas was successful in his race for Senator. Narrow silver rim has lost most of its once brighter flashing but the celluloid remains NM and the piece displays Mint as made with the exception of the flashing. Rare.
