Item Description
3" with rim slogans "Back Ike/Vote Republican" and center text "Graham For Congress/Jos. A. 'Goldie' Graham." Made by Phila Badge with black painted metal back as issued which has filiform lines in the paint. The celluloid is very dark cream, more the result of the type of cello covering being used at the time rather than any actual stain although there are small traces of stain around the outer perimeter, and as typical with this company at this time, some air under the celluloid. Some of these marks are as big .5" dia. but others are mere dots. These just show in reflected light. Still with bright color and high gloss. In spite of trying to ride Ike's name, this Pennsylvania 1st District candidate lost to the Democrat. Julie Powell Collection.
