Item Description
First is 12x15" burlap covered board covered in 75 buttons with numerous for Lindsay, Wallace, Schmitz, Humphrey, Muskie, Reagan, Nader, McCloskey, Yorty, and many others. Vast majority are NM to Mint and we do not see any exceptions to this. Next is a 5x8" burlap covered board. This holds eight buttons for Bayh, plus one tie tack and two litho tabs. There are also three buttons for Boren. The fourteenth item is a 2.25" cartoon duck with slogan above "When In Doubt Mumble." Shield across the front reads "Status Quo" and ribbon design below reads "Nat'l Association Of Professional Bureaucrats." Actually this is a "Boren" button as per Levin's inked notation on the reverse. Last board is another 5x8" burlap holding three buttons relating to the "New Party" plus seven buttons with slogans relating to indecision, boycotts and miscellaneous themes. All of these are NM displaying Mint as are those on the second board except the large "Bayh For Now" button which has a long cello split along the right side edge plus some air under the cello but still displaying nicely. An outstanding group. Comes with Hake's COA.
