Item Description
Smallest is 5/8" in row two reading "Anti-Prohibition League Of Missouri." This is rare. The largest in top row is 1-13/16" "My Vote Goes Wet." In row two the third item is a litho and the fourth item has significant dent on reverse collet with minor dents on the front. In row three smallest is aluminum "We Want Beer." In bottom row all reference the "Personal Liberty" League. This was founded in 1882 to oppose the growing Temperance movement. These four are c.1908 and are probably anti-New York Governor Hughes items as the liquor men from large breweries funded this group to oppose him, as noted in the New York Times October 10, 1908. The last of these in row four has faint tan stain. Unless noted otherwise all items are Exc. and display Mint.
