Auction #210 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1270 in auction 210
Item Description
Each is marked on the back with the name of a maker using the German word "WIEN" rather than the word "Vienna." The first in brass and beautiful translucent red enamel bordered in white has inscription in German that more or less translates to Train Station Colleagues Anniversary Association. At the top of the piece a winged wheel shoots lightening bolt accents downwards towards a double eagle insignia. Second item features a winged wheel at top while below are a pair of circular red and white enamel symbols probably representing train signals. The German on this one roughly translates to The Cycling Club Of The Railroad Officials 1898. Both are NM and display Mint.
