Item Description
In 1897 the W&H button catalog "List To Date" was of 13 different. It appears "Gen. Benjamin F. Butler" and "Gen. William Booth" were made after that catalog was printed and both are included in this group which consists of 14 of 15 known. The only missing entry is Beauregard. Thirteen of these have a W&H back paper and one has a Pepsin Gum paper. Included in order shown are Custer, Grant, Meade, McClellan, Hancock, Fremont, Sherman, Sheridan, Lee, Logan, Jackson, Miles, Butler, Booth. NM, displaying Mint. Our last group of 13 exceeded $250.00.
