Item Description
Smallest is .5" and largest are 7/8". In rows one through five majority of the items are from the early 1900s although a couple are probably c.1932 but without text. These early pieces include many choice color buttons. Some advertise specific products such as "George Washington Soda" and "Karl's Bread." Also in row one is a 1912 beautifully colored Theodore Roosevelt Progressive Party button reading "Washington Party/Come With Us." This was the name of the party used in Pennsylvania. From row five last two items to the bottom, each of these was issued for the 1932 Centennial and vast majority carry that date. The exception is row seven as these are the six items in the group that have some damage. The first five of these show light stain and the last is a lapel stud with half of the circular disk broken off the reverse. The other 48 pieces are Exc. to Mint. A collection many years in the making.
