It takes two and one half glass covered 12”x16” cases to hold these 96 pieces. Sizes range from 5/8” to 3.5”. 95 of the pieces are buttons and one piece is a figural “28” enamel watch fob from “Alabama Polytechnic Institute.” Of the 96 pieces one button has craze lines and twenty have some degree of age stain. Some buttons show only a year but most include a school name. Among the many schools represented are Princeton, University Of Pennsylvania, Swarthmore, Colgate, Wesleyan, Purdue, Drexel, Dartmouth, Dickenson, Brown University, Kansas State, Michigan State, Rhode Island State and many others. Vast majority of the buttons are from the 1950s back to the 1920s. Just a handful are more recent. The most in depth collection we’ve ever seen.
