Item Description
Smallest in row three is a metal stud with threaded post back. Lincoln portrait enclosed in a wreath with the numeral "5" below. Other items are celluloid buttons except row three number two and four. Group leads off with large 2-1/8" from 1940 Boston community fund. First item in row two is from early Presidential set although with tiny age marks and a few near invisible craze lines. Next to this is real photo sepia c.1909. Next is "Lincoln Republican Club/Hillside" followed by "Lincoln Republican Club 1926." First in row three also has craze lines and was issued for a newspaper essay contest. The litho next to it has a few tiny age dots. Fourth litho button in this row is from another Presidential set that went through JFK. In bottom row is early color portrait button c.1909 followed by two later issues in nice color but c.1960s. All are Exc. to Mint except as noted.
