Item Description
1.75" with W&H back paper first used in 1913. Button shows him with Civil War dates above "1861-1865" with Confederate flags flanking the portrait. Noticeable tan stain about 1" long on the upper edge and both longer and a little deeper stain along the bottom edge. Still about 90% of the button remains clean. Spring pin holds a well worn ribbon with silver text "Mrs. Alexander's Party." Ribbon has a partially repaired split that goes through the word "Mrs." and it is also a bit frayed where it is held by the spring pin on the button's reverse. One seen.
