Dates range from 1871 to 1886. Each is approximately 10.75x15.75”. Images include: Nast portrait, Tammany Tiger, parody of “New York Tribune” front page, Uncle Sam, President Cleveland, Miss Columbia, Boss Tweed. Almost all relate to political corruption. Bit of scattered edge wear here and there, image areas are Exc./NM. An instant collection by Nast (1840-1902), recognized as the father of modern political cartooning.
