For event held Saturday Feb. 6. Document dating puts the year at 1897 or 1904. 18-7/8x30.75” poster archivally mounted to fabric sheet has signed Palmer Cox art at top showing 27 Brownie characters on stage, including climbing up side rope ladders. Includes Uncle Sam, Chinaman, Dude, Indian, Valiant Sailor, Scotsman. Text includes “A Feast For Old And Young, The Grand Juvenile Fairy Spectacular, Living Brownies!, Beautiful Fairies! Elaborate Production By Home Talent”. Bottom of poster has attached 7x16” sheet for show at “Armory, Sparta”, likely Illinois. Poster was originally folded as issued. A few light crease lines are still visible, but overall appearance is Fine/VF as mounted. Great design w/nice art by Brownies creator. Impressive size, extremely limited distribution.
