Item Description
This premium was first offered in 1935 and is one of the very few issued by Ralston which does not include their logo or his name. The item is 2.5" long when open and consists of a silver luster metal frame holding a magnifier which swivels in and out plus a compass inset on the top and a loop for suspension. Back is simply marked "Japan." With this Essentially Mint example comes a 10.75x16" Sunday newspaper advertisement giving an expiration date of March 6, 1937 for the offer. Two small tears on bottom edge of the ad which are neatly repaired with archival tape on the reverse. Ad displays Exc.
