Item Description
Pair of framed production animation cels from 1969 animated educational short directed by Ward Kimball discussing the evolution and history of birds which mixed animation w/live footage. This short won an Academy Award as Best Short Subject that year. Both cels feature full body images of M.C. Bird character from the short. 9.75x11.75" frame contains original production animation cel that has been double-matted to 4x5.5" and shows M.C. Bird w/his hands clasped at his side. Second frame measures 8.75x10.75" and contains original production animation cel that has been double-matted to 4x5.5" and shows M.C. Bird w/record in his hands. Both are Exc. as framed and ready for display.
