Item Description
1930s badge of embossed brass with double circle area at left and wing extending to the right. At the center of the circle is a big .25" rhinestone, the largest we've ever seen used on a premium. Outer circle reads "Ann Of The Airplanes/School Of The Air." Inner circle reads "Air Hostess/Sunshine." We can not offer any information about this program but this is the first example of the piece we've seen and it is NM displaying Mint. Most 1930s aviation focused radio programs, which were greatly inspired by Lindbergh's 1927 achievement, were focused towards their audience of young boys. This is a rare exception.
