Lot of eight sheets of animation paper ranging in size from 4-1/8x5.25" to 10x12". All feature images in either lead or color pencil w/some featuring both. Three of the seven have captions. Three featuring just Grumpy, one showing an early design of him w/red, bandaged nose. Another early design shows Sneezy looking impatient as he sits on a log. Last sheet featuring single Dwarf shows him driving two beavers as he stands on their tails. Another early design features four Dwarfs, including Grumpy and Happy. Another sheet features storyboard showing fully rendered Grumpy in lead/color pencil w/word balloon reading "If You Let The Gal Stay..Look Out!" Sheet has early designs for the other six Dwarfs in color pencil, clearly showing Dopey, Doc and Sleepy. Last sheet (10x12") features "Thinking Sequence" storyboard featuring nine small images of Dwarfs Deafy and Grumpy concentrating w/step-by-step progression notes for scene. Deafy Dwarf was a character initially considered for the film but later dropped. All sheets have pinholes at corners and some lt. aging. Larger storyboard sheet has some moderate margin/corner tip wear and is Fine. Image areas are o/w Fine-VF. All are well drawn expressive examples.
