Item Description
Original 27x41" one-sheet movie poster for the 1938 Republic 15-chapter serial starring Lee Powell as The Lone Ranger and Chief Thundercloud as Tonto. Poster also mentions that Silver was played by a horse named Silver King. This is for Chapter 4 "Agent Of Treachery" and features wonderful design, showing all five masked Texas Rangers on horseback w/image of Tonto on cliff above them. Inset scene from film shows group of seven men w/guns drawn, about to unmask The Lone Ranger. Poster has moderate wear w/splits at fold line along margins and at fold crease intersections. Poster has been mounted to thin board and has 1.5" strips of masking tape at corners. VG overall.
