Item Description
Original 27x41" one-sheet movie poster for the 1938 Republic 15-chapter serial starring Lee Powell as The Lone Ranger and Chief Thundercloud as Tonto. Poster also mentions that Silver was played by a horse named Silver King. Poster features wonderful design, w/fully masked Lone Ranger sitting on rearing Silver while firing gun. Poster has noticeable fade. Originally folded, poster has .25" area of color touch-up to top center fold crease intersection and some touch-ups along top center vertical crease. Fold lines along margins show some wear as well. Technically VG/Fine, but as linen-mounted, poster still displays nicely. This is the much rarer and more desirable poster promoting the entire 15-chapter serial, not just a single chapter as is usually found. First we've offered in our 47 years.
