The festival took place Aug. 12-14, 1994 on Winston Farm in Saugerties, NY., only 10 miles from Woodstock, NY., and this location was the originally proposed location for the 1969 concert. The festival featured original Woodstock performers The Band, Santana, Joe Cocker, Country Joe McDonald, John Sebastian, surviving members of Sweetwater, and Crosby, Stills, & Nash as well as modern acts Nine Inch Nails, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blind Melon, Aerosmith, Bob Dylan, Green Day, Metallica, Rollins Band, Melissa Etheridge, Blues Traveler, Sheryl Crow and many others.
