30x40" poster for the original 1973 release of the classic horror film based on the 1971 novel of the same name by William Peter Blatty. The film was directed by William Friedkin and starred Ellen Burstyn, Max von Sydow, Jason Miller and Linda Blair. These 30x40" size posters mostly feature the same artwork as the more typical 27x41" one-sheet posters, but these posters are printed on more durable cardstock material. These posters were printed in smaller quantities than other advertising items of other sizes. Poster features chilling image of Father Merrin (Max von Sydow) arriving in the fog. Poster has been rolled and shows some scattered handling wear. VF/Exc. overall. Poster comes w/three 8x10" mini lobby cards, 21 mostly 8x10" glossy bw stills - 11 from "The Exorcist" and 10 from "Exorcist II: The Heretic" which again starred Linda Blair. All are for the original releases and Exc. overall.
