Item Description
Lot of three flasks, two glass w/metal screw caps, one glazed ceramic w/cork stopper. First two are shaped and painted to look like 5.5" long clam shell and 6" long ham-hock. c. early 1900s. Clam has moderate paint wear but still displays nicely. Fine. Ham has paint wear to raised bone and end cut area. Fine. Last flask is shaped like a pretzel w/scattered salt accents under the glaze. "Pat. Appl'd For 1908" text stamped on back and is known to have been issued by the Faust Distillery of Glen Rock, PA. Exc. These novelty flasks were given as gifts by whiskey makers to store/bar owners, etc. Wonderful designs.
