11.5x14.25" spiral-bound hardcover w/simulated alligator skin covers contains sepia-toned pages. Published by RKO Radio Pictures to promote the films for the 1940-1941 season. Full page ads include Orson Welles film "John Citizen, USA" (which would later become "Citizen Kane"), Carole Lombard and Charles Laughton in "The Other Man," Ginger Rogers in "Kitty Foyle." Includes die-cut insert designed like book which holds portion of miniature "LIFE" magazine article on film. Cary Grant in "Passport To Life," Gene Arthur in "The Devil And Miss Jones," Carole Lombard in "Mr. & Mrs. Smith." In addition, Li'l Abner, The Saint and Tim Holt westerns are mentioned. Donald Duck animated short "Mr. Duck Steps Out" ad as well. Pages have very lt. tanning and are Exc. Cover has some corner tip/margin wear w/1" area of surface lift to top right corner of front cover from price sticker removal. Fine overall. Limited distribution.
