Large original cardboard box w/illustration of set contains Tonka set No. 825-6, produced in 1955. Complete w/13" long dump truck w/manual lift dump bed and gate. Truck has "Tonka Toys" decals on doors. Sand loader toy measures 19.25" tall by 19" long and consists of tubular aluminum frame, painted pressed steel crane car, hopper and scoop. Crane functions include - travels back and forth, bucket scoop raises and lowers, opens and closes. All functions work. Crane car has "Aerial Sand Loader" decals on each side as well as "To Raise" and "To Lower" instructional decals. These show some blistering but are complete and stabilized. Interior of hopper and dump bed have some spider-webbing to paint. Truck grille and bumper have lt. oxidation, o/w set is VF. Scarce box shows heavy and obvious wear w/one inner flap missing, moisture staining and tape repair and is just Good. Nice set.
