Item Description
Pair of 11.25x16.5" thin artboards w/India ink image areas and printed first logo panels. June 8/22, 1997 page has eight panels (not including title panel) and features The Phantom in seven of the eight. Devil is seen in one panel and five panels feature dinosaurs - an Oviraptor and a Stegosaurus. Stegosaurus and one Oviraptor (w/Phantom) panel are paste-up photocopies. Top margin is marked w/"Bones" story title, but this has been falsely corrected to "Silks." Margin also notes original June 8 date and adjusted June 22 date. Aug. 20/24, 1997 page w/eight panels (not including title panel) and features The Phantom in three panels along w/ghostly image of dinosaur from previous page. This is the last Sunday page for the "Bones" storyline. Top margin is marked w/"Bones" story title and also notes original Aug. 10 date and adjusted Aug. 24 date. Each has small applied KFS, Inc. copyright sticker. Art by Fred Fredericks (for bio, see previous item #1831). Both are clean and Exc. Well drawn pair. See following item #1833.
