Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 11.25" tall tin litho and plastic robot made in Japan by Horikawa, 1960s. Box shows some wear w/corner creases and some color rubs along edges, but retains its shape. Fine. Robot is mainly tin litho w/entire front chest panel being clear plastic, showing inner plastic gears that move when toy is turned on. Top of robot's head has plastic "Automatic Speed Control" knob that allows user to pick robot's speed - "Quick, Slow, Stop." Plastic front has a few small scuffs and robot has some scattered paint nicks. Battery case door has professionaly replaced hinge, small spot of oxidation on inside of door, but battery box itself remains clean. All functions work; three different color light bulbs in chest alternately flash. Toy displays VF.
